Mindless Golf Rocks, Issue #001 -- teaser here May 04, 2007 |
May 2007 IssueWelcome to my May 2007 newsletter. You have already visited my website at online-golf-lesson-and-more.com and have subscribed to this monthly newsletter. I hope you have enjoyed and learned from the 85 pages that I have written so far. I have been busy over the last seven months building this website and hope to add much more information in the months to come.
I will be once again busy out on the range giving lessons to my private students and every other spare minute will be spent in the golf shop attending to sales and repairs. I have now been giving lessons at my home course for the last five weeks and am thouroughly enjoying the fine results my students are achieving. I am finding it much easier these days to convert people to this way of playing. I do however come up against the same old questions or dis-believers who think we must control the golf swing consciously. There are four different types of student who come to me and try this wonderful method. I will use the following analogy to clarify their differences: Lets imagine that the student is an empty wine glass and his knowledge of this method starts out as a tiny seed. I will help him to nourish that seed in order for it to flourish. Lets now consider the four types of student. Type one: The seed is lying on the ground and the wine glass, with the open end down, is sitting on top of it. It is therefore closed off from the nourishment and cannot grow. As the glass itself has no means of adding nourishment, it will never grow. Type two: This glass is sitting the right way up and the seed is sitting in the bottom of it. The nourishment is then poured into the glass but this glass has a drain and the nourishment will flow away. This seed will grow but its growth will be stunted and incomplete. Type three: This glass is also sitting the right way up and the seed is sitting at the bottom of it. It is watertight and any nourishment added will not flow away. It is however a dirty glass and this dirt would contaminate the nourishment to a certain extent. The seed in this glass will grow quite well but there will be imperfections. Type four: This glass has the same qualities, as type three, but it is completely clean and crystal clear. The nourishment is added and the seed will grow into a perfect plant, which will flourish and flourish. This plant will then send its roots out of the glass and begin to find its own nourishment. It will eventually grow into a huge evergreen tree, which cannot recede. I can nourish student types two to four but would ask student type one to think twice before we waste any of this extraordinary nourishment. In her first three tournaments this year, Leela has managed to drop down to 10 handicap and I do believe she will achieve around 5-6 before the end of the season. She is of course the fourth type os student with a crystal clear glass. For more on this wonderful teaching method go to... http://www.online-golf-lesson-and-more.com/private-member.html to read more on this. O.K. that's it until next month. Please enjoy reading further into the website and I'll send another newsletter in June.
