The Cost of Free Golf Tips for You

No More Pain or Stress

free golf tips
I think everyone should welcome any free golf tips.

I have spent many winters, on an artificial golf green, giving putting instruction and should be writing golf books on what I have experienced.

For instance, there is a great beginner golf lesson where the student's main task is to concentrate on the golf ball dimples, but that is for another page.

The tip on this page is about the putting waggle and is probably the most enjoyable and stress relieving technique ever to emerge into the realms of this game.

Let me begin by saying that putting should be as stress free as threading a needle or throwing paper into a basket. It is however at times a living nightmare.

I have seen potential warriors and heroes almost breaking out in tears over the result of a mere putt.

We have all been there and putting is the most soul-destroying aspect of any sport invented by man. Here’s the good news, I am going to help you change all these nightmares into ecstasies.

free golf tips 2 Let’s start by considering a couple of the sports’ techniques that have similar skills to putting, namely bowling and darts.

I am of course talking of the gentler form of bowling from England where the bowler rolls the ball to a target some 25-35 yards away.

In these sports, the accuracy required is just as intricate as in putting but somehow the participants are having more fun and less stress.

They tend to laugh when one goes a little astray and they seem to be totally unaffected by the last shot. What can we learn from these sports?

They use a much simpler pre-throwing waggle or practice swing, which I have decided to adopt as the main theme of this free golf tips session.

Here is an experiment for you to try out. If you have a dart board or a bowling green then use them, if not, any small ball will do, e.g. a tennis ball or baseball.

In these activities the thrower would automatically take a comfortable stance and then make one or more small back and forward motions with the throwing arm.

These motions are very smooth and have little to do with the power required in the actual throw.

So what’s going on? Some will say that this is purely an aiming move, others will say it’s to relax the muscles and then there are others who feel it’s to activate the correct muscle groups for the throw.

As a matter of fact they would all be right but it isn’t just one of these but all of them and more.

free golf tips 3 You’ve tried it and felt it? It’s a well rehearsed ‘gross motor skill’, and it’s not that difficult. Isn’t it just the tiniest, smoothest and most comfortable pre-throw feeling there is.

I couldn’t imagine using any other move before any of these actions. Normally free golf tips are full of complicated theory but this one is so natural that it comes from within

We also do this in power sports. Take the Olympic shot-putter, he makes several tiny moves before throwing. The archer or sniper would also make these tiny moves before letting go or pulling the trigger.

This is the case in all physical sports; in baseball the pitcher or hitter; in tennis the server or receiver; the runner; the jumper; climber; diver; and even the pole-vaulter.

Which brings me to a golfer’s putting technique. He carries out this pre-shot move a little differently from all these other more natural moves.

His focus is more on doing rather than feeling the tiny, smooth and relaxed pre-shot movements.

He is so concerned by the outcome that he feels he must make a practice swing that is a carbon copy of the actual attempt.

Before I go any further, I know many of the tour pros also do this when they are putting but I know plenty of the better putters on tour don't.

In this regard golf stands alone from all sports, where the player feels he needs to make a practice move with the same power and length as the actual swing.

I see it every day! Imagine the other sportsmen if they were to make the same large waggles before throwing etc., they would look a bit silly.

I find a full practice swing in golf, be that full swing, pitch, chip or putt, to be an abnormality. I rarely see any of the top pros taking anything other than natural waggles. Again they know something we don't.

In a nutshell, think about making your future practice swings more like the other activities.

I've been doing this for a couple of years and can't believe how much my putting and every other aspect of my game have improved.

Of all the free golf tips available on this site, I personally think your enjoyment could be enhanced most by this one. It is also a huge added bonus that it isn't a difficult alteration to make.

About 2 years ago I began to wonder how I could create a profitable website and stumbled upon a system called SBI.
