If you are going to use the best golf clubs then it only makes sense to make sure that all your golf accessories are up to scratch. You hear the golf ball manufacturers advising you to play such and such a ball when putting and then a driving tips article suggesting another for longer distance. I am I am of the opinion that Callaway Golf certainly have the right ball for you but it might not be the one you thought was appropriate. On this, my golf ball reviews page, I will try to give you my thoughts on this theme.

If you do not carry the ball, with your driver, a consistent (without roll) 230 yards (210 metres) then you are waisting you time and money with these two balls. They are excellent balls, but please, just for the longer hitters out there. If you are short off the tee and tend to miss the fairway and seldom reach the greens in regulation buy the HX Pearl."

They are both good quality balls, and I find the HX Hot plus to be slightly longer than the Hot Bite which has more spin and control qualities. For me the 3-piece ball to try first is the HX Pearl for most recreational golfers."
