What is your target in golf?

It always surprises me when players seem to think that the ball is the target in golf.

Or at least that's how it seems when they are addressing the ball.

Take a look at the picture on the left where this golfer is preparing for a shot adopting a typical amateur's pre-shot routine.

Nothing out of the ordinary here. He has set up to the ball quite adeptly and all of the fundamentals seem to be in order.

Now take a look at the picture on the right.

Is this the same athlete?

Look at how ready the player on the right looks to project the ball out there. He is much looser and his body language is infinately more confident.

So how did he change from Dr. Jeckel to Mr. Hyde, from Joe Hacker to Bobby Jones?

By simply looking at the real target, he has awakened a long established method to enable his body to summon primal energy to perform a dynamic golf swing.

Watch your playing partners, they are so caught up with hitting the ball, that they spend more than 90% of the time looking at the darn thing.
